Reminders / Updates - Regular Season games and Post Season Tournament

Coaches,

We hope you all had a great week back after the Memorial Day weekend. Below are few reminders and updates around the 2nd half of the season and as we prepare for the post season tournament.

Rain out games up to this point have all been rescheduled and posted on the teams schedules
We are near 100 rain outs at this point in the season.
- We are doing all we can to ensure scheduled games are not 3+ games in a week
- With team schedule conflicts, days some teams have landed on rain days, etc. we are approaching games that will need to be played the week of the post season tournament.
  - This is important for kid pitch teams to understand as you will want to be careful for pitch counts leading up to the post season tournament.
    - The goal would be to start as fresh and with as much rest as possible
Post-Season Tournament
- Scheduling always become a little tricky for that tournament due to the quick turnaround.
- 6/27 will be a mandatory rest day and a day to finalize standings, setting up brackets, etc.
- The tournament will begin on 6/28 and run through Monday, 7/1
- This is a FREE tournament that the league does for 6U Coach Pitch teams through 14U
  - There is not registration required for this tournament. We assume all teams will want to opt in, unless they have forfeited games or tell us they do not plan on playing in the post season tournament
  - No gate fee for this tournament

There could be situations that we will not get all regular season games in before the post-season tournament. If that does happen, regular season records will finish as of 6/26 and teams will be seeded out as such. Regular season games will be scheduled up to no later than 7/15.

We are expecting rain this evening, likely during the 1st set of games. Tonight will be a little crazy as we intend to attempt to get as much playing time in as possible. There is a small chance that the rain coming in around 7p will go around us and we will play the 2nd round as scheduled. It will likely be a game time decision.
