Practice Field Availability

Bookafield - NKCA

NKCA Baseball is proud to introduce Bookafield.us.  With this new system, teams can now secure field space on their own in a one spot shop type of environment.

For our program, it is a new system for coaches to book field space at traditional school district practice fields and game ready fields.

School District practice fields will continue to be at no cost to the teams as the NKC School District offers the fields to our program free use. The school district has given teams permission to perform maintenance (dragging and mowing) to these fields if they would like to do so as they have limited resources.

Once the team is registered and they need to secure field space, follow the instructions below...

  1. Send the director an email with request for access to Bookafield. Within 24 hours, the coach will receive a reply email indicating their Bookafield account has been set up Keep an eye on the email that comes from Bookafield.   2. Please review the “User Field Agreement” prior to logging in
  3. Scheduling Space ​
    • Practice fields - No cost
      • In the event teams have more than one team in the program, space may be secured for each of their teams. Please reach out to the director to get this accomplished.
      • Teams will have the option to secure one weekday slot (Mon-Thur) and one weekend slot (Fri-Sun)
    • Game Ready fields​
      • Once you have purchased credits, you can now book field space.  This can be done under the “Schedule” tab, “Create/Edit”
      • You can purchase credits for $30 each.  1 credit will equal one slot on game ready fields.  This is done under “My Account”.
  4. When you are in the create/edit menu you will want to use the drop-down for either "Practice Fields" and/or "Game Ready Fields"​
  5. You can then begin to select a date that is open to secure space.
    • ​In the event you are securing space before the season, it may indicate that the schedule is not yet available. This means as of today the fields are not accessable but you can begin to book your space by selecting the dates it is available.
  6. When field space is booked, teams can modify or delete booked space up to 24 hours before the scheduled practice.
  7. Where Bookafield does not link up with the NKCA Baseball website, the only way to receive notifications/reminders/cancellations, the coach will need to add the booked space onto their team page.
  8. If a team opts to not use the NKCA Baseball website to load their purchased practice(s), it will be important to keep an eye on the Field Status on our home page in the event of inclement weather, etc
