Not Good Enough

On 10/9/2023, The KC Royals and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City released the film, Not Good Enough.  A documentary that focuses on the pressures placed on young athletes and their mental health.

Please take the time to watch this documentary.  It will be worth every moment and may just change the future of your athlete for the better.

For parents, coaches, and administrators, as we take our responsibility of developing these young athletes seriously, we can transform them into better people and build better relationships that will last a lifetime.  Whether we like it or not, as families, teams, or leagues, we are all in the memory making business.  The question is, “what is the lasting memory you are leaving them with whether on the car ride home, at practice, or even during the game?”

Let them know that you love to watch them play.  Let them dictate how the post-game conversation should play out.  Do they want you just to listen, do they want advice, or do they want you to fix something?
